The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the coordination, planning, and completion of the Gisozi Medical Center. This is an opportunity to lead a high-impact project, ensuring it meets deadlines, stays within budget, and upholds our world-class quality standards. The role involves close collaboration with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all phases of the Gisozi Medical Center project, from construction completion to tenant readiness.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.
Verify the accuracy of provided Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and assist with the procurement of materials.
Monitor project budgets, timelines, and quality standards, providing regular progress reports to senior leadership.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and obtain the necessary occupancy permit.
Identify and implement innovative solutions to project challenges, maintaining VIF’s reputation as a forward-thinking developer.
Assist in preparing architectural and structural details as required.
Participate in the recruitment and selection of contractors and supervision teams.
Who We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and registered membership with the Institution of Engineers Rwanda.
10 to 15 years of experience in civil engineering and project management. Experience with healthcare projects is a plus.
Proven ability to manage large-scale projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget while coordinating diverse teams.
Strong experience in the construction of public facilities.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Experience working in Rwanda or East Africa is highly desirable.
A results-oriented professional with a passion for healthcare infrastructure development.
